Jacqueline Fernandez grew up in Bahrain, Manama. She is Sri Lankan and comes from an ethnically diverse background. The father of Jacqueline, Elroy Fernandez, is an Sri Lankan. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed for Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she took home the title in 2006. Her first appearance on television was after she won the Miss Sri Lanka title. Her show, Lanka Business Report, is about Sri Lankan business. Padukone, her mother was the famous badminton star Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and grew up in Bangalore. When she was a teen, Padukone was a participant in numerous championships for national badminton. However, she resigned from the sport when she decided to pursue a career as a professional model. Padukone is born in Mangalorean background, and her mother tongue is Konkani. Padukone is a village in Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District. Prakash Padukone's father was an international badminton champion who has now retired. Her mother is a traveling agent.
